 The Lufa District Development Authority (DDA) is a pivotal institution dedicated to advancing the socio-economic well-being of the Lufa District within the Eastern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. As stewards of progress, the DDA collaborates with various stakeholders to drive sustainable development, improve infrastructure, and enhance the quality of life for our community. 

 Lufa is a district located in the Eastern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea. It is situated in the highlands region of the country and is known for its scenic landscapes, fertile valleys, and agricultural activities.

Lufa district is home to a diverse population, primarily consisting of the indigenous peoples of the Eastern Highlands. The district is known for its rich cultural heritage, traditional practices, and vibrant festivals.

Agriculture is the main economic activity in Lufa, with subsistence farming being the primary source of livelihood for the local communities. The fertile soils and favorable climate support the cultivation of crops such as coffee, tea, vegetables, fruits, and root crops. These agricultural products play a significant role in the local economy and are often traded both domestically and internationally.
